چکیده

The generation of high frequency oscillatory magnetic fields represents a fundamental component underlying the successful implementation neutron resonant spin-echo spectrometers, class instrumentation critical for high-resolution extraction dynamical excitations (structural and magnetic) in materials. In this paper, setup circuits at longitudinal spectrometer RESEDA is described comprehensive technical detail. We demonstrate that these are capable functioning frequencies up to 3.6 MHz over broad bandwidth down 35 kHz using combination signal generators, amplifiers, impedance matching transformers, carefully designed cascade tunable capacitors customized coils.

Pulsed Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Spin Echo

This experiment is an example of magnetic resonance a class of experiments in which very small energy separations (typically 10−7 eV) of quantum mechanical states are determined by measuring the frequency of a sinusoidally varying magnetic field, which induces transitions between the states. Some examples of magnetic resonance experiments are: nuclear magnetic resonance [1, 8], nuclear quadrupo...

Momentum-resolved electron-phonon interaction in lead determined by neutron resonance spin-echo spectroscopy.

Neutron resonance spin-echo spectroscopy was used to monitor the temperature evolution of the linewidths of transverse acoustic phonons in lead across the superconducting transition temperature over an extended range of the Brillouin zone. For phonons with energies below the superconducting energy gap, a linewidth reduction of maximum amplitude was observed below . The electron-phonon contribut...

Fast spin-echo for multiple mouse magnetic resonance phenotyping.

High-resolution magnetic resonance imaging is emerging as a powerful tool for phenotyping mice in biologic studies of genetic expression, development, and disease progression. In several applications, notably random mutagenesis trials, large cohorts of mice must be examined for abnormalities that may occur in any part of the body. In the aim of establishing a protocol for imaging multiple mice ...

High-speed interlaced spin-echo magnetic resonance imaging.

A new method is introduced for increasing the efficiency in multislice single spin-echo MRI. The method interlaces the excitation and measurement of different slices, resulting in an effective use of the echo delay time between RF excitation and reception. Under certain conditions, the method allows for scan time reduction compared to standard single spin-echo MRI, in particular for long echo t...
